THE BERMONDSEY JOYRIDERS - 3 Track Promo

Imagine Cock Sparrer meeting Chelsea and The Heavy Metal Kids, and that’s what you’ve got with The Bermondsey Joyriders, which is no surprise really when you consider the band features original Cock Sparrer guitarist and songwriter Gary Lammin, on Vocals. Original Chelsea Guitarist Martin Stacey on the Bass and Keith Boyce from The Heavy Metal Kids on Drums. This is the sound from the streets, the toons of the terraces. No major political agenda here, just foot to the floor fun and spills rawk and roll of the highest calibre. These 3 tracks were selected by the shuffle button on my CD player and serve as a sampler of The Bermondsey Joyriders 10 track debut CD/download, which is available via the band here. Highly Recommended!

Cheers Nuzz. Always loved Runnin' Riot.

They’re a good band Nuzz. Planning to go see them supporting Wilko Johnson in October.

Despite his ‘Sparrer connections, always felt that Lammin was essentially more of a Jesse Hector type character than Oi! merchant. He did of course have a track on the flawed masterpiece that was Trash On Delivery.

Hi, Nuzz !!
Nice idea to post some 'Joyriders' songs. It's a shame that 2 of the 3 which came out in the 'shuffle' are already featured on the band's MySpace page, though.
Plus, let's face it, anyone who's heard of Gary Lammin will already know "Runnin' Riot" from his days with CockSParrer.
Maybe a more selective post would've been better, in terms of letting people hear some of their other tunes.
For example, "All That Darkness", "Again And Again" and "Rock 'n' Roll Demon" are not yet available online and might've made a better selection.
That said, you've got a good blog going here, and your efforts are much appreciated, so keep up the good work !!
All the best,
JJ
