Out with the old in with the..................

So the year 2008 draws to a close, a year that has seen Global Free Market capitalism start to implode and Democracy brought into question with the state intruding deeper into the lives of the individual and incompetence rewarded by hugh financial payouts. The continuing illegal war on terror justifies their anti-terror laws, greed and want not need has seen the market crash. It was a year that has seen a whole ton of shit dropped on people.
What ever shit is thrown at us, it’s what we do with it that counts. We can either sink slowly and slowly deeper into it, or we can throw it back at them.
Divide and rule; a tool in their armoury. Time to pick it up and beat them with it. It aint the immigrants taking jobs. It’s the fat cats taking all the money and our government wasting it that’s keeping the poor and the workers working, if they aint lost their jobs due to government actions or inactions.
Unemployed and angry? Use your time wisely! Get organised!! Take stock! Don’t sit around watching television. That’s what they want to you to be doing, passive acceptance. Take the technology they gave us, and make yer own TV, Computers are our weapon.
A Time For Change!? Indeed! What sort of change, well we could start with our minds, before we lose them completely., or should I say.. Give them away, because that is what people have done, because that is all they have known. Now’s the time for them to realise that in a world were everything is up for sale, and the illusion that Money brings peace of mind has enabled them to take a piece of peoples minds, that it was all a crock of shit. The free market costs, and the price people have paid has been an expensive one, and thanks to them will continue to be as governments either bail out the businesses and lenders, at our cost, or let them go to the wall at the cost to the workers. I’m sorry that people are gonna lose their jobs, but if a business is failing it’s because something aint right. MFI; Wooden crap. Woolworths; Plastic crap. Jaguar; Metal crap. We don’t need anymore crap!
Fuck New Year Resolutions! What we need is a new Years revolution, I aint talking building barricades in the streets and ripping up the pavement to get to the beach beneath it and chucking the slabs at the cops, but if that’s what you fancy doing, go for it. it’s all about breaking the barricades in the mind, the ones that people have let get built there, through endless brainwashing by a system that wants them kept in their place. Question everything, especially yourself. Everything is up for sale. What price freedom? The newspaper headlines are meant for your head, it’s what yer head does with them that matters. You are not alone, you might think you are, but that’s just what they want you to think, because that way you’re no threat to them, because what they fear most is people being united and standing against them. It’s a battle of hearts and minds. They want our minds, and we need to have the heart to tell ‘em NO! 2009, bring it on!

HOWMUCHMORE?

How much more real can the unreal become?
How much more can the process be processed?
How much more perfection can be perfected?
How much more celebrity can be celebrated?
How much more to buy before it’s a good bye?

THEY'RE TEACHING THEM HOW TO BE THICK!

I Was thinking the other day it was coming up to the anniversary of Joe Strummers death, and I wondered… If he was still us, what he’d make of all the shit that’s been going on over the past couple of years, continued war, economic crisis, state surveillance, you know the stuff, I then thought perhaps, more importantly, who was the kids of today and adults of tomorrow’s Joe Strummer. Who’s speaking out for them, and to them about all the shit!?

Saturday 20 December 2008

Both myself and the PC have come down with some sort of virus. The computer doesn’t want to do anything, and when it does, it does it so slowly, and me.. I feel pretty much the same. Virus scan and paracetamol it is then!

THE CRISP CRUNCH!

My tolerance levels are low, the smallest things. A person eating crisps! It was 8.15 the other morning, and I’m sitting on the bus waiting for it to take me to work, and in the seat behind me there’s someone eating a packet of crisps. Crunch, Crunch, Crunch, Crunch. For fucks sake! Why didn’t they have their breakfast at home, before they left for work, and they must have had one of those Jumbo bags, the one’s were you get more air for your money cos it seemed to go on forever. I could feel my blood beginning to boil, so I had to get of the bus and have a fag until the bus went at 8.30. Fuck banning smoking in public places, ban the eating of crisps as well, that’s what I say.

THE STRANGLERS - In Concert 1977/78 (Bootleg)

Another band that some felt didn’t fit the punk rock profile were The Stranglers, they were too old, could play their instruments, had long hair/beards, blah, blah, blah. Yes they were politicaly poles apart from some percieved punk rock theory, with their misogynistic, macho attitude and stance, politicaly correct they weren’t, but they still fitted into the punk rock picture. Songs like; Peaches, Bring On The Nubiles and I Feel Like A Wog, all guarenteed shock, horror and outrage, and all are featured on this bootleg made up from 2 recordings for the BBC. The first six tracks are from an In Concert recording at London’s Paris Theatre on 24/4/77, and the last five are from BBC TV’s Rock Goes to Collage when it visited The University of Surrey on 19/10/78, I don’t think this part of the evening was broadcast, because the band were a bit abusive to the audience, still that’s punk rock for yer. Anyway you know what to do if you fancy a blast of some vintage Stranglers, that’s right just click! As an end note, former Strangler Hugh Cornwall recently appeared on stage with The Paddingtons helping to keep the punk flag flying high.

SLAUGHTER AND THE DOGS - Do It Dog Style (Tape)

No self respecting lover of Punk Rawk or Rawk’n’Roll should be without a copy of this album. From punks second city; Manchester. Slaughter and The Dogs brought some street style bootboy swagger along with their New York Dolls Rock’n’Roll riffs to the London punk rock party at places like The Roxy, where they were captured on film by Don Letts for his Punk Rock film. A band that are still remembered fondly by Ian Brown and Mani (Stone Roses/Primal Scream) who often drop their name in interviews when asked about their influences. So if you fancy cranking it up real high and doing it dog style you know where to click!

You Couldn't Make This Shit Up (Part.....)

So the banking/economic shit continues; recession will be worse and longer than expected, probably due to more scandals and scams in the financial sector coming to light. The latest one involves millions of missing dollars and a guy in the US by the name of, (I thought I’d misheard this when the news was on) Bernie Madeoff!!! Yes….Bernie fucking Madeoff, I’ll leave you to make up the rest…………… While I'm on the subject of the news; Hats off to the Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at George Bush!

I Love the smell of burning Greece in the morning!

The British people may not be showing much interest in demonstrating any dissatisfaction against the governments handling of the economy, but they’re certainly watching what the people of Greece, the birth place of democracy have been doing. It was the top story on the BBC’s news website this week. Thanks to the power of modern technology over 2 million have logged on to see, hear and read all about what the Greek people have been doing with their dissatisfaction towards their Government. It would appear that we would prefer to watch a struugle rather than participate in one; such is the Society of the Spectacle.

THE PADDINGTONS - Demos

Built up and knocked down by the musick biz. From major label, to their own label. Vocal supporters of Love Music Hate Racism, The Paddingtons released one of my favourite albums this year; No Mundane Options. On this one the band sound like they’ve taken more control over it all with a less polished product than First Comes First, more Punk than Rock. If yer expecting to hear it here, sorry to disappoint but here’s a batch of their demos instead.

Fact or Fiction? What, If and Only!

GORDON IS TREATING US LIKE MORONS!

So Gordon Brown makes a Freudian slip and says he’s “saved the world” what a wanker. The only thing he’s done is save his sorry arse, because if recent opinion polls are to be believed his rating as a leader has risen. For fucks sake! It seems you can fool people all of the time. Blind acceptance is a sign of stupid fools that stand in line, yeah lines of queues snapping up ½ price bargains courtesy of flash the cash Gordon saviour of the universe. How much longer are people gonna sit back and take it? I mean in somewhere like Greece what’s going on in Britain at the moment would result in a show of force and discontent at their Government, but no not here. The Police can shoot as many people as they like, The Government can lie, steal and cheat, and people do fuck all except live on their own little planets!

TWISTED WHEEL

I've decided to fuck the Twisted Wheel embeded player off, but if you liked what you heard, here's 13 tracks by those new upstarts on the block.

THE STANLEY BLACKS

My girlfriends recently got herself a new man; Stanley. A Three month old Affenpinscher, Kennel name Attila Devils Own, they weren’t wrong there. He’s a fucking nutter! Stan The Man!! Ordinarily I wouldn’t have bothered telling you about this, but in one of those strange moments of synchronicity I received an email the other day from garyching, the man who’s Always Searching For Music. He asked if I’d do him a favour and post a track by a local band he’s seen a few times, to get some feedback from people. Ordinarily I don't know if I'd have done this sort of thing, but when I saw the name of the band I thought erm! Why the hell not…..here you go it’s: THE STANLEY BLACKS with a track called In Sight, which sounds the exact opposite of my girlfriends Stanley; Calm and laid back! Let us know what you think.

THE VIBRATORS - Guilty (7" vinyl-rip)

A bit of an odd one this. Released in 1983, but a different version to the one that’s on the Guilty album. Neither this nor the b -side appear on any of their best off compilations, which is about right because both tracks aint anywhere near the best stuff they’ve recorded. Guilty is an attempt at a sort of Hip Hop Rock Rap hybrid and Hang Ten is a mutant surf R’n’B instrumental. Both tracks are ...interesting, but for completists only I’d say, but hey don’t take my word for it, hear what you think for yerself here!

SOCIAL DISTORTION - An Almost Acoustic Christmas. (Bootleg)

This may be the only concession to the coming festive time of Consumer-mass you’re gonna get from me and this is stretching it a bit; but I give you SOCIAL DISTORTION’S Almost Acoustic Christmas, a widely circulated bootleg which is neither acoustic or particularly ’Christmassy’ if you’re looking for some festive rock’n’roll yer better off checking out The Yobs Christmas albums. But if yer after a set of self confessional punk’n’roll then this might just be the prescription. Recorded on Dec 12th 2004 at the annual KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas in California. The set the band played veers more to the Rock than the Punk, but Mommy’s Little Monster still sounds mighty fine, as does Bad Luck and their covers of Johnny Cash’s Ring Of Fire and the Stones’s Under My Thumb, in fact they all do. Anyway check it out here for yourselves and make up yer own mind. Quick story before I go. Back in 1992 I promoted a gig with Social Distortion in Stevenage. It was one of four they did in Britain to promote their Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell album, a great gig only marred by a swastika being carved on my girlfriends car by a disgruntled skinhead, but that’s a whole other story. Anyway spoke to the band who were a nice bunch of people, and blagged a guest list place and backstage pass from their booking agent for the gig at The Underworld in Camden . Two great gigs in the space of a few days. At the London gig singer Mike Ness was reminiscing about the short tour to the audience and mentioned that they played Stevenage and how it was “a strange concrete muthafucking place” Thanks to the backstage pass I got a chance to speak to Mike in the dressing room afterwards. I mentioned what he‘d said about my hometown and he was all apologetic for the remark, and then surprised when I shook his hand and said “you aint fucking wrong there mate.”

"You've got to know who the enemy is"

I dunno how much more of this shit I can take, there’s not enough time to pass comment on what’s going on and been going on. From babies killed under the noses of the state, and the vicarious media coverage and out pouring of public grief, to politicians arrested by the state for leaking information that our government would rather we didn’t know about. While anti terrorist officers raided Damian Greens house the war on terror exploded in Mumbai; just who are the terrorists. Thousands are losing their jobs and the Unions are saying nothing and the workers are doing nothing. What is it that they fear? Being branded terrorists for speaking out against the present regime, because that’s what it is a fucking regime that’s in danger of becoming a totality if we let it happen. Talking of totalitarian regimes; in China recently some office workers lost their jobs, so they smashed their office up, computers, desks, the whole fucking lot! I’d have thought they’d have a lot more to fear from their state than ours. So what’s gripping the public at the moment? The fucking X-Factor and I’m a Celebrity, and people are still getting their knickers in a twist about standards and swearing on the BBC. Like I said; I’ve had enough of this shit!
Still at least we’ve got the music, and it doesn’t come much better than this, it’s THE ENEMY with a live track Shed a Tear, which recalls The Clash and The Jam and points towards what could and should be an important album for next year, both musically and lyrically; the follow up to We Live and Die in these Towns. Here’s to hoping and waiting.

THESE ANIMAL MEN - Speeed King (7"Vinyl Rip) + 5 Live Tracks!

The early 90’s and Britain was awash in dance culture and baggy clothes, until thanks to the NME The New Wave of New Wave appeared on the ‘scene’ which was like it said on the tin; New bands drawing on the punk/new wave sounds of the past. I’ve already posted one band from this ‘manufactured movement’; S*M*A*S*H, so now get ready for another one, it’s their gigging buddies THESE ANIMAL MEN. This is their debut single, released in 1994, which caused a bit of controversy with some local authorities, as the tour to promote it was due to visit several youth clubs. It’s a neat slice of power pop punk , that recalls The Only Ones and The Heartbreakers, with a nod to the Brit bands of the 60’s. Interestingly both S*M*A*S*H and TAM appeared on T.O.T.P’s before Oasis and the whole N.W.O.N.W was a precursor to the Brit pop madness that sound tracked the rest of the 90’s, but unlike Oasis, both bands only had 15 minutes, and before you could say Malcolm McClaren and Bernie Rhodes they were gone. Their legacy; making guitars and small size clothing 'fashionable' again. Anyway if you fancy a blast on some These Animal Men click here for the single, and here for a 5 track live recording done for BBC Radio Ones Evening session on 5th June 1994 at the Zap Club in their hometown of Brighton. Enjoy! THE DODGY LINK HAS BEEN SORTED!

LIPSTICK KILLERS ON ST VALENTINES DAY

Only the New York Dolls could be late for an important date and still pull it off, this gig was billed as a St Valentines Day Massacre, but took place on the 15th February 1974 at The Academy Of Music in New York City. Notably the gig started with a short Bob Gruen film Lipstick Killers, which had the band all dolled up as gangsters running amok on the streets of New York. The film ended with the band running into the venue. They then appeared in the flesh in the auditorium and started to blast out a classic “almost professional “set. Nick Kent from the NME who was in town to cover the event described the Dolls as “The best and last of their breed, jack-knifing their way with style, across the infinity of parodies that currently make up the true substance of rock’n’roll right now.’ Experience those substances for yerself, right here right now. It’s just a click away.

"CLOWNS TO THE LEFT"

So the government plans a kiss of life to the dying free market economy with a breath of old Labour values of taxing the rich. Well that’s just fucking rich cos those red turncoats have helped the rich get richer and the poor get poorer over the last fifteen years. The flexible friend; instant credit has snapped. The illusion of social mobility is falling down with repossessions and bankruptcies,
Where has the money all gone? On a holy war on terror and for oil. Well that’s been well worth the money, Al-Qaeda are still about, and there’s concerns over energy supplies in Britain, and lets face it the only reason the price of fuel has dropped at the pumps is to keep the lorries rolling to supply the shops with more shit that they still want us to buy, because VAT cuts are on the way and the banks have got lots of money to lend us after the government bailed them out with our money. Well almost, except that the banks aren’t too keen to lend the money, but that’s what the government want them to do, otherwise we wont start spending again. Well excuse me, but isn’t this another reason we are in this mess; because people spent too much money that they didn’t have on shit they didn’t need. Still, it’s only what our government have done, and are going to continue you to do; there’s nothing like leading by example. Where’s all the money going to come from, and how’s it going to be paid back? The only countries with any real wealth are the oil producing nations, so I wonder what deals were struck when Brown the Clown was visiting there recently. So the rich are going to be taxed more, but after the next election, taxes and VAT will rise again, it’s like a 0% finance buy now pay later sofa. Mind you New or Old Labour have never being that good with money.. Lets not forget Dennis Healey going cap in hand to the IMF in the 70’s. Another thing all I hear about is spending, what about some saving? Perhapes that’s why the banks don’t want to lend money, because I don’t hear the government making any cut backs. The troops are still in Iraq and Afghanistan and the Olympics are still gonna be happening in 2012. I suppose one good thing is were starting to lose a few churches of consumption MFI are in a state of financial collapse, just like their flat pack furniture after a couple of years use, and Woolworths have called in the receivers, but Woolworths…they’ve been a fixture on the High Streets for a long time; priced out of the market by the supermarkets with all their cheaper shit. I was gonna put a couple of Karl Marx quotes here “all that is solid….” etc, but couldn’t be bothered with it, but he knew the score and final result of capitalism; competition, greed, human nature, epochs, economic/social change, forces of production etc, etc. We are gonna be living through some crazy shit over the next few years. All the fun of the fair starts here!

THE CORTINAS - Live in 1977

Today’s musical offering is some vintage old skool punk rawk from the class of ‘77 and it’s The Cortinas recorded live in Plymouth in…1977. Often referred to by scenesters and journalists at the time rather unfairly as a “second division punk band”, no doubt because they came from Bristol and not London, plus they were a band playing R’n’B covers before punk broke, and they had middle class backgrounds, which in the eyes of some wasn’t in keeping with what punk was all about. What a load of bollocks! This is; classic, classless first rate punk rock! Enjoy it here!

The State Of Education Today or You Couldn't Make This Shit Up!

My daughter came home from school the other day and told me that during her French lesson, while the teacher was out of the classroom telling off a disruptive pupil some of the boys were looking at porn on the computer. Then later in the day during games when she was playing netball a couple of rats ran across the court with the caretaker chasing them and trying to grab one with his litter picking up stick, then the class started shouting “Kill It” when he caught one. The above account is a true story, because I did ask my daughter about it and like she said “why would I make it up?”

"FREE SPEACH FOR THE DUMB"

In the wake of the leaked list of BNP members, and the possibility that some on the list may lose their jobs, we can expect an outcry of “Freedom of speech” from a party that if they gained power would deny others this right, yes we could say that this is already happening under New Labour with the ever eroding of civil liberties, but by denying the BNP certain freedoms, we would be safeguarding our future liberties, because I for one would not want the weapons the state has at it’s disposal now e.g. CCTV surveillance and Anti-Terror Laws to fall into the hands of a far right organisation , which they would if the BNP ever came to power in Britain, and don’t think they wouldn’t use them to their full potential, because they would after all this is a party that despite trying to clean up its image remains tainted by violence. The party leader Nick Griffin has appeared in court, In the not so distant past on at least two occasions for inciting racial hatred, yes some people named on the list may not take their believes to the extremes, but they’ve still signed up to a party that believes Hitler was a good man for killing 6 million+ human beings. No doubt, they’ll try and use the race Relations Act, something they don’t believe in to say they are being discriminated against and despite wanting Britain to withdraw from the European Union they’ll go running to Brussels screaming “Human rights” but don’t talk to me about human rights, when it’s human wrongs we need to protect and discriminate against!

Wednesday 19 November 2008

WHO ARE THE RACISTS?

So members of the BNP; a political party that relies on fear to get its message across are scared because their names and addresses have been leaked on the internet. What a fucking shame, welcome to your world, and lets hope a few of em get the sack from their jobs, because it’s not a good time to be unemployed, and they wont be able to blame the immigrants for taking their jobs. No doubt the membership list was leaked for a reason, and as I’m typing this I hear on the news that the their leader Nick Griffin is saying that any teachers that are sacked for being members of the BNP will be victims of fascism???!!!

THE QUEERBOYS/PRETTY GIRLS and THE BABYSITTERS - Live: Sometime, Somewhere

I’ve absolutely no idea where this was recorded, but I’m sure it was somewhere on a tour both bands did with The Cherry Bombs in 1986. By the end of the tour The Queerboys had become The Pretty Girls after there’d been a bit of a kerfuffle at the first gig of the tour, when the Bradford University Lesbian and Gay society handed out flyers telling the audience that: “The name the queer boys is offensive” and not to applaud this “sick support band.“ Fuck knows what they thought of The Babysitters and their comedy Punk’n’Roll antics. Any way if you fancy some hot live action from the London Rock’nRoll scene click here for The PrettyQueerGirlBoys and their take on The Faces and Stones, and there for The Babysitters with their Damned/Heartbreakers racket. Enjoy, the recordings a bit rough and it was recorded on a right cheap old tape, but hey what the fuck!

THE SCREAMING BLUE MESSIAHS - Bikini Red

What more can I say about the Messiahs that I haven’t said in previous posts, without sounding like some crazy fucking obsessive. Seriously though, this their second album is the bollocks! There are no comparisons; The Messiahs were out there on their own on the lost highway, and 21 years later it still sounds as fresh as the smell of recently burned rubber on tarmaq. Pure, ferocious, frantic and fun, with a dark edge to it. Don’t just take my word for it, here’s what Anne Scanlon had to say about it in Sounds magazine:
“Sometimes good guys don't wear white but, fronted by Bill Carter, The Screaming Blue Messiahs come across like the meanest and darkest of them all.
Back, after a long silence, with dual openers 'Sweet Water Pools' and 'Bikini Red', the Messiahs appear to have fled the madness of the city and taken refuge on safe and starlit beaches. But that's on the surface only. The post-'Gun-Shy' Messiahs are as obsessed as ever with concrete, cars and homicide only this time their psyche is more deranged, their delivery more manic. Take the dance destruction of 'All Shook Down', the slow grind of 'Big Brother Muscle' or the effortless rock 'n' roll of '55 The Law' which features Michael Ryan and Jerry Lee Lewis in a suburban breakout: "I didn't like my neighbours so I blew them all away, didn't like my neighbours on such a nice day". 'Too Much Love' and 'Sweet Water Pools' both reek of a similar desire to escape and annihilate, but 'Bikini Red' reveals a sharp sense of humour as well. This is drawn out on the combat Clash crunch of 'I Can Speak American' and more immediately on 'I Wanna Be A Flintstone' and 'Jesus Chrysler Drives A Dodge'. That said, the song this record is most likely to be remembered for is a distinct departure from anything the Messiahs have done before. It's the closing 'Waltz', a eulogy for Carter's mother and a fine testament to love and life. The Screaming Blue Messiahs might never get round to wearing white, but their hearts are still beating in all the right places.”
Anyway if you fancy a blast you know what to do!

BURNING LONDON - The Clash Tribute

On the day that Barack Obama won the US elections, and the day in 1605 when Guy Fawkes entered the British Houses of Parliament with the intention of blowing them up, here’s a little something for ya; A compilation of mainly American artists, including No Doubt, Rancid, Indigo Girls and Moby amongst others covering tunes by The Clash; a band that politicised a generation of British kids, took America by storm and continue to influence the music and politics of young people across the world to this day. Whether this record is a fitting tribute to The Clash, I’ll leave that for you to decide, the stand out track for me is The Afghan Whigs’s haunting take on Lost In The Super Market, that features Topper Headon on Drums. Worth the £1.99 that I paid for it last week, from a second hand shop in The Forest Of Dean, for that track alone, so it’s gotta be worth a click of yer mouse, who knows you might prefer some of the other offerings.
GOD BLESS YOU AMERICA FOR SEEING LIGHT AMONGST THE DARKNESS!

Brooom! Brooom!

So Lewis Hamilton is Formula One World Champion; makes you proud to be British. Bollocks! He is the epitome of everything capitalist; Greedy, Competitive and Selfish. The media tell us how many millions he’s gonna be worth, but lets not forget that he moved to Switzerland to avoid paying tax. All this after the economy’s gone down the shitter and people aint got a pot to piss in. No doubt my local council will name a road in Stevenage after him and leech of his success and fame, after contributing nothing to it; Capitalism….everyones a winner! except the losers, and there’s a lot more of them.

SOME NOTES ON SOME OLD NEWS!

WHAT'S THIS SHIT!

Right then, No posts for a week; taking a ‘bloggers break’ before it breaks me. Had planned to post some music‘n’words this week, but like all plans it didn’t go to it. Never mind being skint financially, seem to be much the same time wise, no matter how you try to manage it. Anyway until my return, I’ll leave you with this musical lucky dip. I use the terms musical and lucky in their broadest terms, it’s all a matter of….but if you fancy taking a dip and a trip somewhere else, you know what to do. Feedback welcome and I’ll reveal more upon my return. I’ve also stuck up some of the music I was gonna post. It’s in the What Have We Got Here section (scroll down and look to the left!) As for the words well once again same old shit different flavours, corrupt politicians and business men, recession, dodgy government statistics re: violent crime US election etc, etc, etc. If anyone wants to get anything off their chest feel free to leave a comment. One last thing; Stay Free! Keep On Keeping On! United as One!, It’s the only way to get through the(ir) shit .

Sunday 19 October 2008

Is the US election more about Race than The Race? God Damn right it is! From Wounded Knee, to the Civil War, through Montgomery and the beating of Rodney King America as a country has feared the colour of a person’s skin,(best add Iraq and Afghanistan to the list.) and made it their mission to oppress and exploit those who are a shade darker. Rock’n’Roll was born in the Slave plantations and appropriated to the world as Elvis Presley; “the white boy with a black mans voice” No Elvis No Beatles No Rolling Stones No Clash.
Should we and do we care who the next President is? God Damn right we should! America still wants to be the most powerful nation in the world and who ever is elected can shape the destiny of each and everyone of us, where ever we are in the world. Just take a look at this global financial fiasco. Where did it all start? That’s right, the good old US of Fucking A, and don’t forget The War on Terror, because that didn’t start on Sept 11th 2001. This is the world calling! Do the right thing American people, don’t fear their fear. It’s change we need !

LORDS OF THE NEW CHURCH - BBC Radio In Concert 1982

Here’s a little something more for ya from the Lords of The New Church; a live BBC Radio In Concert performance from 1982. It was issued as an album in the USA as a Promo, with three extra tracks that are missing from this recording, but hey never mind, this is still quality shit from the black leather rock’n’rollers. The accompanying artwerk is a page from an old scrap book of mine; bringing the past into the present and preserving it for the future.
